This afternoon I was in for a special treat when Nikki Pippinger and her adorable son Kaden stopped by to look at the airplanes!
They came to visit me Saturday but I missed them since I was in Little Rock. Matthew showed him around the planes and took off several times right in front of him while Kaden clapped. Kaden must have fallen in love with the airplanes because he wanted to come back again today!
The future pilot ran out on the concrete where the pavement meets the tarmac and waved at the airplanes. He then threw his arms in the air in some sort of touchdown-like motion any time he saw a plane fly through the air. "Plane!, Plane!", he would shout... Just in case we weren't paying enough attention. Kaden was also sporting the newest fashions in eye protection that the younger pilots have started sporting these days... Again, another trend-setter!
Kaden and Nikki were both fun visitors and a breath of fresh air at the end of my chaotic day... I think we've got Kaden hooked on airplanes and, who knows, maybe we have a future pilot on our hands!!!! (Nikki is crossing her fingers and praying to sweet baby Jesus this does not happen!)
